Lost At Sea FRONT

Lost At Sea

by Meghan Lepsis

For most eighth graders, their parents’ sudden disappearance would be the biggest nightmare imaginable. For Amber and her brother Kenny, the nightmare is only beginning.
Before this, Amber’s biggest worries were fitting in at high school, finding time with her two favorite cousins, and watching her brother while her parents were away. But when the Coast Guard calls with terrible news—and Amber’s ominous dream about a ship lost at sea proves all too prophetic—everyone’s lives are changed forever.

With the help of headstrong Jenna, easygoing but reliable Mike, and an overly helpful policeman with mysterious motives, Amber sets off on the rescue mission of a lifetime. But their eagerness quickly leads them straight into stormy waters…literally! After a violent storm, a surprising discovery in a cave, and the very real threat of physical danger, Amber and the rest of her team realize things are much, much worse than they’d ever dreamed.
